Sun Xiang is a guitar maker from China who has spent a total of one year learning traditional classical guitar making in a village called Cómpeta in the province of Malaga, Spain, with master guitar maker Daniele Chiesa. Madera interviewed him in Daniele's workshop and then we went to China and interviewed him in his own workshop.
We can see what are the reasons that made him want to come to Spain to learn, what he values most from his apprenticeship with Daniele and we also go a bit into his own construction process such as the design of the rosette which he has based on the book of Chinese philosophy ¨Book of Chen¨.
