Biography
Alexis Parducci won last year’s prestigious International Guitar Making Competition in Granada 2022 with a guitar just like the one we show here in Madera. Same construction, same materials, same rosette design…
A guitar that impressed the jury for its original design as you can see in the photos. Excellent marquetry work and ornaments. It makes a lot of sense as a whole. Head, rosette, bridge, purflings ornament, template… everything makes sense and is interconnected.
A very high quality of construction and execution by the guitar maker. Beautiful materials such as the Madagascar rosewood back and the top with spectacular medullary rays.
This guitar has a very beautiful traditional sound. I would say lyrical and sweet and intimate sound. Round sounds full of harmonics. Good balance between bass and treble. Deep basses and wide and defined trebles.
The influence of the Granada school is noticeable in this guitar. Parducci pursues lightness and ease of playing as he himself describes this guitar in the very interesting video you can see below. He explains in detail how he makes his guitars, what he wants to achieve in his guitars and its most important aspects.

Alexis Parducci was born in Argentina.
At the age of 18 he decided to move to Spain where in the city of Málaga he entered the Luthery School of Jose Angel Chacón Tenllado.
There he met his friend and guitar maker Víctor Quintanilla. The two of them began to follow a learning path together where they became interested in and researched the work of the Granada School of guitar makers and the guitars that have been created from there.
Over the years, Parducci has been developing his guitar to create his own model, original in aesthetics and sound.
Alexis Parducci currently lives in Mar del Plata, Argentina where he works as a guitar maker and also organizes guitar making courses to give his knowledge acquired in Spain to new guitar makers in his country.
Parducci won in 2022 the Granada International Guitar Making Competition.
