Biography
In April 2023 I started a month-long guitar building course taught by the Spanish guitar maker Pablo Requena, where you made a whole guitar from scratch with Pablo’s help every day in every step.
It was a fantastic experience that changed the way I saw guitars.
The result is this traditional Spanish guitar that I consider a great guitar in many aspects.
I chose to make the rosette being a copy of the Santos Hernandez 1939 guitar shown here at MaderaGuitarras.com.
I also decided to make a 655mm scale lenght which I have always found very comfortable.
As a guitarist having a guitar made by myself is a great satisfaction. And as an experience I recommend it to everyone who can do it, because despite the hard work you have to do every day, what you get is so worth it.
You can see part of the course in the video below.
