When our clients ask us which strings to use, this is always a very subjective matter — but if they push us a little to name a specific brand and model, then lately, and although we don’t use these exclusively, we have been favouring the Knobloch Erithacus QZ Nylon EDQ 33.5 (Made in Spain), as they pair very well with the type of traditional guitar that, as you know, we are most drawn to. Guitars where there is a wide range of colours and nuances, and where the strings play their part in producing that beautiful sound we are always seeking.
